Designed and delivered in just 11 months, the Prayagraj Airport terminal was conceived as a welcoming gateway to the city for the Maha Kumbh in 2019. Its design draws from Prayagraj’s relationship with water and the symbolic confluence, or sangam, of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers. Flowing forms across the façade translate this cultural and geographic identity into an uplifting arrival experience for travellers.
