Located beside Okhla NSIC Metro Station, with views towards the expansive greens of the Lotus Temple, the building brings together co-working spaces on the lower floors and a children’s library and recreation space above.
The design imagines a transition from the energy of the city to a world of discovery. Flexible workspaces support collaboration, while the upper levels encourage reading, exploration and play through stepped bookshelves, intimate reading nooks and interconnected spaces. A sculptural staircase links these experiences, and circular openings draw daylight deeper into the building.
A layered façade of slender screens and planted edges filters sunlight and frames views of the surrounding greenery. Warm timber tones soften the exposed concrete, while touches of colour bring playfulness to the children’s spaces. The shaded roof terrace extends learning and recreation outdoors, creating a shared retreat above the city.
